Judy spent many years running her own business before becoming a counsellor. For the past 35 years Judy has worked as a professional counsellor in private organisations, NGO’s in NSW and the Northern Territory. She has worked in areas such as gambling, drug & alcohol, suicide intervention, loss & grief, disabilities, aged care to name a few. During her time in disabilities she managed a number of services.
She has a number of passions, one of which is training and facilitating Sandplay workshops.
In 1989, she first encountered sandplay therapy during her own journey. Today her focus is on empowering people to take charge of their journey. She brings much of her own personal life experience to her work, which can assist with the issues that people bring to their sessions.
Judy has previously work for 7 years in the NT with Indigenous people. In 2003 she started conducting Sandplay training courses for organisations in Alice Springs
Sandplay trainings are conducted for participants from local schools, NGO’s , Government organisations, the general public and Church & community organisations. Judy continues to run Sandplay training courses in the Territory. Central Queensland, N.S.W. and she is available to conduct training elsewhere in Australia.
Judy continues to offer private counselling sessions and group workshops for those people interested in furthering their personal and spiritual development.
Judy has a great deal of experience in writing and delivering educational programs and personal growth workshops for organisations and the community in general.
Currently, Judy is living in Bathurst NSW.
