MODULE I

Subjects covered are as follows:-

Criteria for “Introduction to Sandtray”:-

All participants will need to complete at least one (1) private sandplay session before attending the “Introduction to Sandtray” training.  Session booking will be arranged once you have registered for the workshop.  Workshop cost includes private sandtray session.

It is also essential that prospective participants be willing to do their own personal work as part of their learning, during this course.

Workshop cost:- $585.00

Module 1 covers the basic information you need to start using this form of therapy. In this course we discuss sandplay & sandtray therapy in general, by this I mean we do not focus specifically on adults or children. There will be examples about both but that will be the extent of the focus.  However, the course encourage people to start their sandtray work with children and this will give them the understanding, experiential learning and confidence to move to the more complicated end of the sandplay continuum e.g., Kids---------------|---------------Adults, kids being the simpler end of the scale. Please Note:  It is essential to complete Module I & II if you intend to work with children in a therapeutic way, as module I does not cover child specific approach and issues encountered in children’s sandtrays.

Days 1 & 2 cover the subjects listed below, day 3 is spent with a “Introduction to Voice dialogue” and how  to use it in the sandtray. Day 4 is practising doing sandtrays and working with the trays that you have completed.  This is where your personal work comes into the training.

Module 1 also gives people the opportunity to decide if they wish to continue with the training, sandtray therapy is not everyone’s cup of tea.  Some find the process very energetic and rewarding,  others find it confronting and challenging.  More information

Training FEEDBACK  comments

The ability to experience the sandtray & then learn its process and practise. The self healing that came out, giving the course personal foundations.  I can now apply how I approach my work and my clients and then of course —–sandtray, when I start.   Thanks Judy it was wonderful and definitely my 1st of many, many steps. Doing your own tray and feeling the process.  To feel it helps you to learn and grow. I can cannot speak highly enough about the course.  Thanks you for sharing you knowledge and wisdom. Amazing N. B. - NT

I found all parts related, but the practical components were the most useful.  The Voice Dialogue & sandtrays were both enlightening and powerful.  I am very thankful that this opportunity was made available.  I feel I am a different, more aware person as I leave now, a person that can work for myself and others from a more reinforced base.  Looking forward to the next part of the training.  A. Each part culminating in sandtray work and sandtray questions.  I felt each aspect was excellent.  More men should do this course. I hope to use sandplay work with students ASAP.  A wonderful rewarding process. Has many spin offs

i.e., techniques, attitude, insight into play. Congratulations Judy on your years of  pioneering work. C. C. - NT
